Nina Lee Aquino is the artistic director Factory Theatre in Toronto, and formerly the artistic director of Cahoots Theatre Projects, and of the fu-GEN Asian-Canadian Theatre Company. She is an award winning director, dramaturge, and playwright. Some of her monologues have appeared in anthologies such as Beyond the Pale and She Speaks. Aquino is also the editor of two collections of plays by Asian Canadians (Love + relAsianships), and co-edited a the work of criticism Asian Canadian Theatre. Aquino earned a bachelor degree in drama at the University of Guelph and a masters degree in theatre from the University of Toronto. She is an adjunct professor of theatre arts at York University.
