Sukhdev Kaur Dhade

Sukhdev Kaur Dhade was born in the Punjab, India.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree and taught in England before emigrating to Canada in 1970.  In 1998 she published a series of books for children to help develop mathematical skills featuring the Boy with the Red Coat.  Later she introduced the Robin with a Red Hat, issued originally under the name Sukhdev Kaur Dosanjh.  More recently she has published poetry and a memoir.  In addition to being a proud mother, Dhade has worked as a real estate broker in Brampton, Ontario.
