Sita Jit is an Indian-Canadian children’s author and former elementary school teacher and curriculum consultant. Jit was born and raised in Toronto and continues to live in Ontario. Jit likes to explore community, intergenerational relationships and Indian culture in her writing. Her first middle grade novel, The Distance Between Us, will be published in 2027.
