George Chiang is an actor, playwright, songwriter, director, producer and writer for children. He wrote and composed the musical Golden Lotus and co-authored with Chad Soon the juvenile biography The Longest Shot: How Larry Kwong Changed the Face of Hockey (Orca Books, 2024). Chiang was born in Ottawa and is of Taiwanese descent. He studied theatre at the University of Guelph.
