Ryanne Kap is a Chinese-Canadian writer from Strathroy, Ontario. She earned a BAh in English and creative writing from the University of Toronto Scarborough and an MA in English from Western University. Kap is pursuing a PhD in English and Creative Writing at the University of Calgary. Her research focuses on adoption studies, Asian Canadian literature and pop culture. Her poetry, fiction and essays have been published in an array of magazines. She has published several chapbooks.
