Ian Iqbal Rashid

Ian Iqbal Rashid was born in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania and raised in Toronto. Rashid began dividing his time between London, England, and Canada in 1991, and by the late 1990s he had settled in Bristol. In addition to poetry, Rashid writes criticism, screenplays, and television drama. Touch of Pink, Rashid’s debut as writer-director of a feature film, was released by Alliance Atlantis in 2004. He directed his first short film Surviving Sabu in 1998.
