Library Accessibility

Ensuring accessibility for all members of the community, including persons with disabilities, is a priority at Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries. We understand that some users may experience barriers to a fully seamless and universally accessible environment, and we are actively working to dismantle them. While we do so, additional support is in place to address these inequities.

Students

Prior to contacting us for support, we recommend that you first register with Academic Accommodation Support. Speaking with a Student Accommodation Facilitator will ensure you receive the appropriate support needed for all facets of student life, not just from the library. Once registered, your facilitator will arrange to connect you with the library so that you may provide more details about the services you require.

At any time you are welcome to liaise with us directly to receive library accommodations.

Faculty and staff

Faculty and staff may contact us directly for library accommodation support. Please contact Sonya Panangaden at sonya.panangaden@torontomu.ca to request library materials in accessible formats.
