Requesting a Fusion 360 Education Account

  1. Go to the Autodesk Fusion 360 Education website: 
  2. Click on the “Get started” button.
  3. Choose the “Educational role” that applies to you.
  4. Fill in your personal information, including your name, school email address, and a strong password. Please note that Fusion 360 is not a TMU-managed service and you will need to consent to Autodesk’s privacy policy.
  5. Click on “Create Account.”
  6. Verify your email address by clicking on the link in the confirmation email sent to you by Autodesk.
  7.  Log in to your new Autodesk account.
  8. Verify your educational status by providing proof of your affiliation with an academic institution. You can take a photo of your TMU OneCard and upload it as a proof of affiliation.
  9. Once verified (typically in 20-30 minutes), you will be granted educational access to Fusion 360.

 

You can stop here and go to the online Fusion 360 website or download Fusion 360 on your device

  1. To download Fusion 360, click on the “Products” tab in your Autodesk account and select “Fusion 360.”
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install Fusion 360 on your computer.
  3. To access the educational resources, tutorials, and forums available through the Education Community, log in to your Autodesk account and navigate to the Education Community page.
