2021 Census @ Statistics Canada
The 2021 Census Program website provides detailed demographic and socioeconomic data. Community Profiles provide data with a detailed level of geography. Data Tables provides a detailed look at cross-tabulated variables on a number of subjects. Subjects covered by the census include population, sex of respondent, gender identity, housing, family structure, Indigenous peoples, language, education, place of birth, ethnic origin, visible minorities, religion, immigration and citizenship, income and earnings, housing, shelter costs, labour, mobility and migration, and place of work and commuting. Data on Racialized and Indigenous Populations in Canada Guide

This guide consists of a curated list of datasets that include ethnicity and race variables which can be used to facilitate anti-racism research in Canada. Public access.

Previous Census Program Websites

The Canadian Census is conducted every 5 years. Access Community Profiles and Data Tables from the 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016 Censuses. Pre-1996 are available from the University of Toronto Map and Data Library. Public access.
