The Law Library is located on the 4th floor of the Podium building (POD) just north of the main Library tower. The Law Library supports the learning, teaching and research needs of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law as well as the wider TMU community. Its digital collections include all of the major Canadian and international legal databases.
A small print collection of core legal materials is housed in the Law Library’s Reading Room (POD484) and Resource Room (POD477). To find the exact location of a law book, ask at the Reading Room service desk.
The Law Library’s print collection includes:
- Course Reserves
- Legal Encyclopedias and reference books
- Canadian and Ontario Statutes
- A small circulating collection of key monographs
The remainder of the Library’s legal materials can be found on the main Library’s 7th floor stacks
The Law Library’s Reading Room is a quiet study space where you will find individual carrels and large study tables.
