Toronto Metropolitan University Library Collaboratory invites faculty to apply for membership with their projects and ideas, whatever the duration or scope.
Individual Faculty Applications are for RFA, CUPE Unit 1 and CUPE Unit 2 faculty/instructors who would like access to drop-in workspace and technology resources.
Faculty members are free to explore the Library Collaboratory in whatever area of research they are interested, whether it is to learn about new equipment or pursue their own research. Faculty members are asked not to invite their graduate students to use the Library Collaboratory as a makerspace for the completion of class assignments.
Our goal is to lower barriers of access to technology resources for faculty, within the confines of Scholarly, Research and Creative Activity (SRC) at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Research Project Team Applications are for project leads who require workspace, storage, and expedited access to technology, or would like access for their research teams. Projects may only need a week of fabrication time and space, or six months of program development time, and we would like to accommodate all. Once project leads have completed the registration form, they will be contacted to schedule a meeting to discuss how the project will fit into the Library Collaboratory.
Please note, all researchers and (and associated assistants) who access Library Collaboratory resources (including consultation, workspace and training) in support are required to acknowledge this support by displaying the Toronto Metropolitan University Library logo, which can be downloaded here.
