Description
Asian American Drama contains 250+ plays by 42 playwrights, together with detailed, fielded information on related productions, theaters, production companies, and more. The collection begins with the works of Sadakichi Hartmann in the late nineteenth century and it is planned to include contemporary playwrights, such as Philip Kan Gotanda, Elizabeth Wong, and Jeannie Barroga.
About half of these plays have never been published before. The database also includes selected playbills, production photographs and other ephemera related to the plays.
