Hands on training is at the heart of the GMDC’s research support model. Each term we offer a combination of introductory and specialized sessions which cover topics such as Data Discovery, GIS Basics, Statistical Learning, Census Mapping, and more. Workshops are delivered weekly in the GMDC labs or virtually via Zoom and are open to TMU students, faculty, and staff. Most sessions include ready-to-use datasets plus a takeaway cheat sheet.
