Dhillon and Family Medical Library, we are committed to supporting faculty in their teaching, research, and scholarly practice. In collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries, we offer a range of services tailored to the needs of the School of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Teaching Support<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are available to work with faculty to enrich medical education through instructional partnerships, resource support, and innovative learning technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Curriculum-Integrated Instruction: <\/strong>Medical librarians deliver sessions to support UGME and PGME learners, including but not limited to research skills, evidence synthesis, and critical appraisal.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Course Readings &amp; Reserves: <\/strong>Faculty can request copyright-cleared e-reserves and access our print reserve collection, curated to reflect current curricular needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Consultations&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are available to work with faculty through one-on-one consultations that support teaching, research, and scholarly activities. These sessions may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Library resources walk-throughs: <\/strong>Support with navigating databases, tools, and collections relevant to teaching or research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research planning and dissemination: <\/strong>Support with identifying appropriate tools and strategies for literature searching, citation management, and sharing scholarly work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SRC Support<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>TMU Libraries offer specialized services to support Scholarly, Research, and Creative (SRC) activity and academic programming, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RShare:<\/strong> Access to TMU\u2019s institutional repository.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research Data Management:<\/strong> Guidance on organizing, storing, and securing data throughout the research lifecycle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Copyright, licensing, and open access: <\/strong>Support with interpreting copyright and licensing considerations, and exploring open access publishing options.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/library.torontomu.ca\/services\/src-support\/\">SRC Support<\/a> page and the<a href=\"https:\/\/library.torontomu.ca\/services\/faculty\/\"> Services for Faculty<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collections&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our collections reflect the evolving needs of medical education and scholarship:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Print Reserve Collection<\/strong>: Short-term loan materials aligned with UGME and PGME curricula.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Graphic Medicine Collection<\/strong>: Resources that explore health through narrative, illustration, and lived experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clinical &amp; Teaching Tools<\/strong>: Point-of-care databases, case-based materials, and emerging topics in global health, equity, and reflective practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Faculty Recommendations<\/strong>: We welcome suggestions to ensure our holdings remain inclusive, responsive, and relevant.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Bikram S.
