Textiles project space for all levels of makers to create and work on projects.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Makers of all levels are welcome to bring in projects featuring sewing, crochet, knitting, emboidery and more! The lab's sewing stations feature 3 Bernette 37<\/a> digital sewing machines, a heavy duty sewing machine, a serger, a knitting machine, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DME is pleased to offer sewists of all levels access to three Bernette B37<\/a> units. Each workstation features basic supplies. The B37 is a compact, but powerful domestic sewing machine. Bernette<\/a> highlights the following features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Stitch overview and Quick Start Guide<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Five different buttonholes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. 50 stitches, including decorative and quilting stitches<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. 7 mm stitch width<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Speed control \u2013 full control from very slow up to 700 stitches per minute<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Start\/Stop button \u2013 sew even without a foot control<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Needle stop up\/down \u2013 perfect for corners, curves and precise positioning<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. LED light \u2013 brightly illuminates your sewing area<\/li>\n\n\n\n
