Her dissertation is entitled <em>Development of a Curriculum-Oriented Training Program for Short-term Memory Skills in Language-Delayed and Hyperactive Children<\/em>. Swapna Gupta moved with her spouse Ashis to Calgary, Alberta in 1978. Swapna Gupta worked as a clinical psychologist with the Alberta Children&#8217;s Hospital until her retirement in 2009.
