Her doctoral dissertation in English literature, completed in 1992, is entitled:\u00a0 <em>The Images of Women in Western and Eastern Epic Literature: An Analysis in Three Major Epics, The Shahnameh, The Iliad and The Odyssey<\/em>. She taught Persian literature at McGill. Naraghi died in 2015.
