Derwin Mak is a science fiction writer, editor, and a military historian. His short fiction has appeared in many magazines and anthologies. He has published short non-fiction articles on popular culture. Mak is a chartered professional accountant living in Toronto, Ontario. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Waterloo.<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

When Mr Endo splits the couple apart, Ishiro joins the Japanese Navy and goes to war, and Yuko\u2019s behavior becomes increasingly human and rebellious.
