She was born in Port Moody, British Columbia but now lives in Toronto, Ontario. Majumdar trained at the National Theatre School of Canada and studied Kathak and other forms of traditional Indian dance. As well, she holds a B.A. in English, Theatre and South Asian Languages from the University of British Columbia. She appropriates Meena\u2019s Indian dance skills and dates her crush Buddy, and bullies Naz after a nasty rumour spreads through the halls of their high school. But like her two enemies, Candice shares a passion for Indian dancing, and has just been accepted to the Conventry School of Bhangra.
