Yuen-fong Woon was a professor of Pacific and Asian Studies at the University of Victoria. She received a masters degree in philosophy from the University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of British Columbia. Her Ph.D. thesis formed the basis for her work Social Organization in South China, 1911-1949: The Case of the Kuan Lineage of K’ai-p’ing County<\/span>.<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
