{"id":5708,"date":"2014-08-26T23:07:41","date_gmt":"2014-08-27T03:07:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/library.ryerson.ca\/asianheritage\/?page_id=5708"},"modified":"2024-08-12T12:44:10","modified_gmt":"2024-08-12T16:44:10","slug":"bryan-lee-omalley","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/library.torontomu.ca\/asianheritage\/authors\/bryan-lee-omalley\/","title":{"rendered":"Bryan Lee O&#8217;Malley"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"bottomborder\">\n<div class=\"narrow\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wide\">Bryan Lee O&#8217;Malley, who is of Korean and French-Canadian heritage, was born in London, Ontario.\u00a0 He lived in Toronto for a number of years and now resides in Los Angeles.\u00a0 He is perhaps best known as the author and illustrator of the Scott Pilgrim series of graphic novels that were adapted into the 2010 motion picture <em>Scott Pilgrim vs. the World <\/em>and also into a video game.\u00a0 The series has recently been reissued in a full-colour hardback edition.\u00a0 O&#8217;Malley has also illustrated some graphic novels written by others.
