Ajmer (Ajamera) Rod\u00e9 was born in India and immigrated to Canada in 1966 to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Waterloo in Ontario. A poet, playwright, and translater, Rod\u00e9 writes in English and Punjabi. He is active in Indo-Canadian literary and performing arts associations and has produced and directed a number of Punjabi plays in Vancouver. In addition to his literary pursuits, Rod\u00e9 has worked as a computer engineer. His one-act play “One Girl, One Dream” was published in The Toronto South Asian Review<\/em> in Spring 1983.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
