His short fiction, much of which is erotic, has been widely anthologized. He co-edited and contributed to <a href=\"https:\/\/torontomu.primo.exlibrisgroup.com\/discovery\/fulldisplay?vid=01OCUL_TMU:01OCUL_TMU&#038;docid=alma991010180579708636\">Swallowing Clouds: An Anthology of Chinese-Canadian Poetry<\/a>. Quan received a B.A. in international studies from Trent University in 1993 and an M.A. in political science from York University in 1994. He is also a singer\/songwriter, has acted, and currently lives in Sydney where he worked for the Australian Federation of AIDS Organizations and more recently opened a Reiki practice and an editing and copywriting business.
