Kanagawa was born in Sapporo, Japan and raised in North America.&nbsp; In 1994 he completed an M.F.A. at Simon Fraser University&#8217;s School of Contemporary Arts. In order to rebuild their lives and their families after the war, Ralph and Mitsue must find the grace and generosity necessary to forgive those who have wronged them.
