Several of his plays have been performed on stage or on the radio, and he has published short stories in anthologies including Many-Mouthed Birds, and, Strike the Wok. Kam’s work reflected his Chinese, Caribbean, and Canadian heritage. “Bachelor-Man” was first performed in 1987. This was a landmark being one of the first plays written by an Asian Canadian, and the production was perhaps the first time a play was cast with an entirely Asian cast. The play was remounted in the fall of 2025 in Toronto by Renaissance Canadian Theatre. The online programme for the production notes that the production is dedicated to the memory of playwright Winston Kam.

Anthology (Drama)

Love + Relasionships.
