Ray Hsu earned both a bachelor’s (hon.) and masters degree in English literature from the University of Toronto prior to completing a Ph.D. in 2008 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.\u00a0 His doctoral thesis is entitled: Neutralizing Typical America<\/span>.\u00a0 Hsu has taught creative writing at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Their poetry has been published in many literary magazines in Canada, the USA and the UK. With illustrator Jonathan Dalton, Hsu created a comic that is anthologized in Welcome to Mina’s<\/em> that features a fictional diner in Vancouver, BC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
