Ruba Nadda was born in Montreal to a Palestinian mother and Syrian-born father.\u00a0 Now based in Toronto, she is best known as a filmmaker who explores Arab and Arab-Canadian experiences.\u00a0 Her short stories have appeared in a selection of literary journals and she has prepared at least one manuscript of short stories that has yet to find a publisher.\u00a0 Her feature length films include I Always Come to You<\/em>, Sabah<\/em><\/a>, Cairo Time<\/em>, Inescapable, <\/em>and October Gale<\/em>.<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
