Cassandra Myers (My’z) who uses the pronouns they\/she\/he describes themself in their website thus: I am queer, South-Asian-Italian, non-binary, mad, crippled, survivor working at the intersection of arts, therapeutics, aesthetics, and world-building. Their poetry and spoken word performances have won awards. Myers was named one of the 2026 Writers’ Trust Awards Rising Stars<\/a>. Myers is completing a MSW degree at York University. They are a registered social worker in addition to being a poet, performer, dancer, illustrator and arts educator. They live in Tkaronto (Toronto, Ont.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
