Joanna Cacao is a Canadian Filipino illustrator and author who lives in Winnipeg. She illustrated the graphic novel The Tryout<\/em> authored by Christina Soontornvat (Scholastic, 2022) and the sequel The Squad<\/em> (forthcoming Nov. 2024). Cacao writes webcomics available on Tapas using the pen name Jocabako. She self-published two collections of her webcomics: Toxic for You<\/em> (collecting April 4, 2015-May 28-2017) and Theo & Simon<\/em>, episodes 001-025 (collecting April 9, 2022-December 11, 2022).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
